It's been all business for the stars of MTV's "Jersey Shore," with the cast kicking off its fifth season of the show last week and a few select stars continuing on their path of brand domination.

At the Consumer Electronics Show (aka #CES2012) in Las Vegas this week, industry execs find themselves competing for the spotlight with celebrities pitching their new tech gadgets. Among the stars promoting products, both Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio announced they are partnering with audio companies to design their own headphones.

Snooki's latest branding partnership is with iHip, which announced the deal Tuesday on its Facebook page. The pint-sized star will help design a bling-heavy line of gear. Customers can look forward to a "gawdy, tacky" line with plenty of animal print influence, Snooki told MSNBC in an interview.

In a pairing that makes a bit more business sense, resident mix master DJ Pauly D announced Monday via Twitter that he will be partnering with SMS Audio and its CEO, rapper 50 Cent, to design a new headphone line.

The deal comes shortly after the reality star was signed to 50 Cent's record label G-Note in December 2011. "Pauly D has a true passion for music and I know he'll put that same energy into helping us develop and promote a quality headphone line," 50 Cent said in a statement.

While no further details have been released about the Snooki/iHip partnership, more product information on DJ Pauly D's design will be released in spring 2012.
