Giuliani: Biden Lacks ‘Mental Capacity’ for VP Job

Vice President Joe Biden might not have “the mental capacity” for the job, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani said Tuesday on CNBC. (Read More: Giuliani: ‘No Lingering Doubts’ About Mitt Romney)

“I've never seen a vice president that has made as many mistakes, said as many stupid things,” he said on “The Kudlow Report.” “I mean, there’s a real fear if, God forbid, he ever had to be entrusted with the presidency, whether he really has the mental capacity to handle it.

“I mean, this guy just isn’t bright. He’s never been bright. He isn’t bright. And people think, ‘Well, he just talks a little too much.’ Actually, he’s just not very smart.” (Read More: Giuliani: ‘Impression’ of Cover-Up in Holder Case)

Giuliani, who made failed bids for the Republican presidential nomination in 2008 and the U.S. Senate in 2000, praised Mitt Romney’s selection of Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan as his running mate. (Read More: Ryan Will Cost Romney Election, Top Investor Says)
