Shark Tank

Robert Herjavec

Robert Herjavec
Shark Tank Host

On the way to his personal fortune of over $100 million, Robert Herjavec has built and sold multiple businesses. A first-generation Yugoslavian immigrant, he arrived in North America at age eight, with one suitcase, $20 in cash and no understanding of English. But he built on his unlimited dreams, and he came to personify a classic rags-to-riches immigrant story.

A serial entrepreneur, Herjavec built numerous companies, selling his computer security firm to AT&T and a Silicon Valley-based technology business to Nokia for $225 million.

In 2003 Herjavec launched The Herjavec Group, acknowledged as one of North America's largest IT security providers. Within a few short years, he built the firm from a staff of three and $400,000 in annual sales to almost 200 employees and more than $125 million. His best-selling memoir, aptly titled "Driven," allowed him to add "bestselling author" to his impressive resume.
