Sakina Spruell

Sakina Spruell is a producer at "The Suze Orman Show" at CNBC. She has contributed personal finance content to Money, Black Enterprise, EBONY, Essence and BET. She began her career in broadcast and was previously an on-air reporter for CNN Headline News and a writer/producer for CNNfn. She completed the Knight Bagehot fellowship in economics and business and received a master's of science from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism. She received a Salute to Excellence Award from the National Association of Black Journalists in 2013 for her series of Financial Fitness Contest Winner stories in Black Enterprise magazine.
