Tory Burch

Tory Burch is the Executive Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of Tory Burch LLC, an American lifestyle brand.

Tory launched the company in 2004 with a boutique in New York and an e-commerce site. The brand has since grown into a global business with 370 stores, e-commerce, and wholesale distribution.

Empowering women is Tory's guiding principle, expressed through her collections and her work at the Tory Burch Foundation. Established in 2009, the Foundation provides women entrepreneurs in the United States with access to capital, education, and community. In addition to its own initiatives and signature Fellows program, the Foundation has partnered with Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, and Fearless Fund to empower women entrepreneurs through grants and low-interest loans.

Tory has been recognized with numerous awards and honors, including the CFDA for Accessory Designer of the Year, the Wharton School's Jay H. Baker Retailing Center's Retail Excellence Award, the Parsons School of Design's Table Award, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation's Sandra Taub Humanitarian Award, Forbes's Most Powerful Women in the World, and Glamour's Women of the Year. Her first book, Tory Burch In Color (Abrams, 2014), was a New York Times Best Seller, and her designs have been featured in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute.

Tory serves on several boards, including the Council of Fashion Designers of America, the Jay H. Baker Retailing Center at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, and the Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She is a Founding Advisory Council Member of the Smithsonian American Women's History Museum, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a trustee at The Barnes Foundation.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Tory lives in New York with her husband and children.
