The Republican presidential candidate called out the celeb on the social media platform Tuesday, saying that he did not know Jackson and criticizing his television commercials.
"We're having beef?" Jackson asked Seth Meyers after being made aware of the tweet on the comedian's late night talk show on Tuesday evening.
"I met him a lot," Jackson told Meyers, dismissing Trump's claim. "I played golf with him. I actually played golf with him and Anthony Anderson."
It appears that the actor may have also had a tee time with Bill Clinton set up by Trump. Here's the full interview with Meyers:
Fellow actor, Anderson, confirmed Jackson's golf game claim on Twitter.
Jackson also noted in his interview with Meyers that Trump may have cheated during their game, something that Trump denied on Twitter Wednesday.
This is not the first Twitter feud that Trump has been involved in in the last year. The billionaire called out Jeff Bezos in December, saying that the Washington Post, owned privately by the Amazon CEO, was a scam.
Reps for Trump did not immediately respond to CNBC's request for comment; reps for Jackson declined to comment.
(Disclosure: NBCUniversal is parent of CNBC and broadcasts "Late Night with Seth Meyers.")
