Before joining the company, Reed led city coverage at the Yale Daily News in New Haven, Connecticut - managing a team of fifteen staff reporters. He focused his reporting on local business and economic development, covering topics ranging from New Haven's biotech sector to the roll-out of Connecticut's health insurance exchanges.
Reed graduated from Yale University in 2016, double majoring in Economics and Political Science with a concentration in urban policy.
