Chase Ink Business Unlimited welcome bonus

Earn a $1,000 bonus cash back after you spend $8,000 on purchases in the first 4 months from account opening.

While this is a cash-back business credit card, you earn cash back in the form of Chase Ultimate Rewards® points. You can redeem these points for one cent each toward statement credits, gift cards and travel (booked through Chase Travel℠). The $1000 cash bonus is equivalent to 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points. That's important because you can pair this card with certain other Chase credit cards to unlock even more valuable redemptions.

These cards also enable transfers to all of Chase's Ultimate Rewards® travel partners. You could combine your points and transfer at a 1:1 ratio to loyalty programs such as Air Canada Aeroplan, United MileagePlus, Southwest Rapid Rewards, World of Hyatt and more. This allows you to book more expensive travel awards with your points. You could realistically stay in a $500+ a night hotel by transferring 30,000 points to World of Hyatt, or book a $3,000+ business-class award flight from the U.S. to Europe by transferring 70,000 points to Air Canada Aeroplan.

Chase Ink Business Unlimited benefits and rewards

The Ink Business Unlimited earns 5% cash back on Lyft rides (through September 2027) and 1.5% cash back on all other purchases.

There's no annual fee and you can add employee cards for free. You can also save on interest with an intro APR on purchases.

Compared to other no-annual-fee business cards, it has a solid list of insurance perks, including:

Who's eligible for this offer?

To qualify for a business credit card, such as the Ink Business Unlimited, you'll need to have some sort of business venture. However, it doesn't need to be your full-time career. You may qualify for a business card if you have a side hustle or freelance work.

You may not need an Employer Identification Number from the IRS to apply for a Chase business credit card. If you're a sole proprietor, you can typically use your Social Security Number as your business tax ID.

This card typically requires a good to excellent credit score, and you'll usually need to be under the unofficial Chase 5/24 rule. That means you'll have a better chance of getting approved if you've opened fewer than five credit cards from any bank in the past 24 months.

Alternative cards to consider

If the Ink Business Unlimited doesn't offer what you're looking for in a business credit card, there are valuable alternatives.

The Chase Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card (see rates and fees) has a $95 annual fee but allows point transfers and has an excellent list of 3X bonus categories on up to $150,000 in combined purchases each calendar year.

You'll also get additional benefits such as cell phone insurance, trip delay reimbursement and trip cancellation and interruption coverage.
