Adam Medros, edX

Adam Medros is president and chief operating officer at edX, overseeing the day-to-day management and oversight of edX's operations, as well as contributing to edX's strategy and growth. Medros brings extensive operational expertise to power the company's innovation and growth at a global scale. He will lead the effort of taking our current success to the next level, transforming education in the learner, university and business setting.

Prior to joining edX, Medros was senior vice president of global product at TripAdvisor, where for more than 13 years he helped grow TripAdvisor into a global public company, with 400 million monthly users across 49 points of sale and 28 languages, 500 million reviews and opinions and over $1.5 billion in annual revenue. At TripAdvisor Medros was a member of the executive management team and led worldwide product development, including core functionality, content operations, mobile and revenue optimization.

Before joining TripAdvisor, Medros held senior analyst and product manager positions at Nordstrom.com, Amazon.com and The Parthenon Group. He also serves on the board of directors of Wordstream. Medros holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in economics and German with honors from Dartmouth College.
