CNBC

Maria grew up in Queens after moving to the U.S. from Argentina as a child. She studied business and got her MBA from Fordham University in New York. While studying, she began an internship at CNBC on The Kudlow Report. She spent three months on the show and was later hired as a News Associate on Power Lunch. She worked her way up to eventually become the line producer of Fast Money. She was also part of the team that launched Halftime Report and helped grow the show from a 15-minute segment to a full-hour program.

After more than five years at CNBC, Maria went to Fox Business News to help lead afternoon programming as line producer for the 1pm hour. She eventually became the senior producer of After the Bell. While at Fox Business, Maria worked on a number of specials including Hurricane Sandy coverage, the midterm elections and the death of Steve Jobs.

Maria returned to CNBC in 2015 as the senior producer of Halftime Report and is currently the senior producer on the two-hour afternoon program, Power Lunch. As part of her job, Maria helps to layout the vision for the show on a daily basis, overseeing editorial and production content.
